This month, we were inspired by Bali and the picturesque island’s laid-back lifestyle and rich artistic heritage. While those end of summer vacations may be postponed, August’s Chic List will transport you to an island paradise from the comfort of your own home.
Travel far, pay no fare…a book can take you anywhere.

Makeup artist Jen Tsourvakas (@the_jen_of_all_trades) of Parlour 3 used varying shades of white and berry to achieve this ombre nail art. This manicure was inspired by our easy-fitting ruana that captures the essence of this month’s collection.
Our drink of the month is a twist on a classic, and truly packs a punch. The Bali Mary is made up of pepper-infused vodka, tomato juice and fresh vegetables and herbs.
- 1.5 oz. Pepper-infused Vodka (or jalapeno vodka for added spice!)
- 3/4 cup Preferred Tomato Juice or Bloody Mary Mix
- Vegetables: Jicama and Cucumber
- Sweetener: Brown Sugar
- Garnish: Basil, Lime and Celery Salt
Muddle the jicama, cucumber and brown sugar until the juice from the vegetables begin to release.
Fill a cocktail shaker with vodka, tomato juice and ice.
Shake until the cocktail shaker is cold to touch.
Strain the mixture into a water goblet (pictured) or champagne flute and add the garnishes. Enjoy!
