Fresh Start: How To Dress For Your New Year  (All of It!)


A new year is here, and along with it, many women are embracing new lifestyle habits—trying new things or joining activities they may have let fall to the wayside by the end of last year.  

Have you thought about what new habits you want to add (or add back to) your routine? Take a look at some of these popular activities to see what you may like to work into your busy schedule—and how you want to dress for it all! 

Book Club

The new year is a fresh start for everyone, so why not start by finding a good book and getting together with friends to discuss it? Reading can deepen your sense of enjoyment in life while helping you build those all-important social connections.  

In fact, we love a good book so much, we’ve partnered with Simon & Schuster to create our Chico’s Book Club. Each season, we’ll feature a new book, with in-boutique fashion shows inspired by the characters, plot and setting, to go with it! Be sure to check back regularly and read the comment section for a chance to engage with other women reading our book pick.  

Of course, no book club would be complete without snacks and the perfect outfit. This is an excellent opportunity to show off fashion trends. Consider a jade blouse and a pair of white jeans—you can pair the look with statement pieces like a chunky necklace or earrings. Jade is a trending color this year—bright choice.  

Meditation

Clear your mind of the clutter and get back to the basics. Meditation can take you on an internal journey that gives you clarity, peace and calm. This is why it is one of the most significant women’s 2022 trends.  

Make sure to wear comfortable clothes that move with your body (for example, our cozy and comfortable Zenergy loungewear) while you sit on your floor cushion and breathe away. Even a practice as short as ten minutes per day can boost your overall satisfaction with your life. The key is to start small and be consistent. Exercise

Perhaps one of the most popular “new year” resolutions that women make is getting more exercise. One fun way to improve your health and physique is through a long game of golf. This sport will help to bolster your physical health with essential benefits, such as:

  • Improved muscle tone 
  • Increased endurance 
  • Reduced stress 
  • Improved cardiovascular health

You may want to master a unique style of cuisine or work your way through a new cookbook to ensure you stay on track and avoid dieting boredom.
